Rick Toles has been teaching music and history and
presenting American roots music for well over 30
years. In the process, he has become proficient in
playing over 20 different musical instruments. The
desire for historically accurate instruments, combined
with many years of woodworking, has resulted in Rick
building many of the instruments he plays, including
period banjos and hammer dulcimers. The passion for
the music and instruments are evident in every
performance. He will make you laugh... make you
think... and make you sing!
